S.B. Cha, PhD

CEO/Co-Founder

S.B. has over 25 years of business creation experience and has launched several category-shaping products in the display and smart products markets. He is a founder of Suiso Ltd and Cambridge Touch Technology Ltd. He holds a Ph.D. from Imperial College in London and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Ryosuke Kuwada

Chief Business Officer/
Co-Founder

Ryosuke has held senior management roles at major U.S. and Japanese corporations, including DuPont and Toppan Printing, and served as VP of Business Development at MIT- and Wharton-affiliated startups, including MIT spin-out E Ink Corporation, which achieved an ≈ US$400 million exit. He holds a BS in Engineering and an MBA from Keio University.

Arokia Nathan, PhD


Chief Scientist

Arokia’s expertise lies in display, semiconductor, and heterogeneous integration technologies.  Formerly a professor at Cambridge University, he is a fellow at IEEE and at IET.  He was the founder of Ignis Innovation (Canada) and Cambridge Touch Technologies Ltd. He’s an inventor on over 100 patents and the author of 600+ publications.

Jun Yamada


Strategic Advisor

Formerly President and Chairman of Qualcomm Japan, Mr. Yamada led initiatives in wireless standards, emerging technologies, and strategic partnerships with operators and manufacturers. He later played a key role in launching One Number Service with NTT and DOCOMO. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board at NH Research Institute and Representative Director and Chairman of Aizu Electric Power Company.

Prof. Qiang Chen


Research Partner

Prof. Chen leads the multi-year collaboration with Visban for Tohoku University.  He is Chair of the Electromagnetic Engineering Lab at Tohoku University and a leading expert in antennas, millimeter-wave technologies, and reconfigurable intelligent surfaces. With over 30 years of research experience, he has led major contributions to beamforming, wireless power transfer, and electromagnetic measurement. A Fellow of IEICE and a key figure in multiple IEEE and IEICE committees, Prof. Chen brings deep academic insight and international collaboration to Visban’s advanced wireless initiatives.
